In the Data Security and Valorization Solutions Department, our mission is to define, design and implement secure, stable, resilient and high-performance IT solutions for all Desjardins Group Security Office portfolio projects. Our vision is to be the gatekeepers of our security solutions and make sure they meet the needs of the organization and our members and clients. As an IT assistance analyst, you support IT efficiency. You configure, administer, maintain and upgrade physical security equipment, computer networks, management systems, database servers and business solutions in accordance with the organization’s needs. You also provide user support and assistance for IT applications, including installation, configuration, best practices, issue resolution, service request management, and IT and technical incident management. You help keep IT equipment up and running and administer servers. You support the more experienced professionals in your unit, help prepare opinions and implementation plans and assist in quality control in accordance with your discipline’s rules. You draw on your comprehensive knowledge of your line of business and your ability to manage complexity. You interact with partners working in other technology fields. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Identify, input, analyze and interpret data based on your comprehensive knowledge of your line of business to support decision-making and best practices for quality assurance and application development.
• Help analyze risks and write reports. Help implement recommendations.
• Help prepare and propose action plans to develop and roll out solutions and address issues in accordance with rules and parameters.
• Help develop and optimize procedures and documentation. Help implement tools for your line of work.
• Actively contribute to the rollout of physical security solutions on Desjardins sites in collaboration with key players.
• Contribute to all activities related to managing physical security equipment and solutions for maintenance and management projects and initiatives.
• Manage the physical security IT asset warehouse.
• Help prepare orders and deliver equipment for project team rollouts.

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience
• Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
• Knowledge of French is required
