Section manager, Actuarial, Analyses and Business solutions QC, Commercial Lines
Job Offer
In your role as Section manager, Actuarial, Analyses and Business Solutions QC, Commercial Lines, you will be responsible of the relationship with our internal partners, including the Growth, Marketing and Distribution teams. You will also collaborate with the project, research, performance, pricing, and underwriting teams. You will participate to growth orientations and ensure the implementation of analytical solutions within the team. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Support the manager in the work organization, strategic planning, and operational planning of the unit
- Ensure the development, implementation, and monitoring of an action plan for his/her unit, aligned with the company's strategic orientations, with a vision of performance management in a context of growth ambition
- Define and ensure the implementation of activities related to the unit’s services to maximize the targeted business results and ensure the satisfaction of members and clients
- Establish management and communication practices that promote change management, talent attraction and retention, skills development, and employee development
- Manage individual and collective performance to facilitate the execution of the unit's business plan.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or Statistics
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in actuarial work, advanced analytics, and coaching
- Please note that other combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered
- Experience in coordinating projects and resources
- Experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance
- Strong communication skills in both French and English, written and spoken, due to the nature of the responsibilities, work tools, or interactions with partners, members, and clients
