It’s a key position that aligns strategic planning and the execution of initiatives, while ensuring optimal performance and rigorous governance. You draw on your in-depth knowledge of the sector to manage a large unit that provides specialized services to all of Desjardins Group. You’re responsible for overseeing your unit’s service offer, developing and implementing its business plan and overseeing activities stemming from our strategic directions. A strategic mindset is therefore essential. You draw on your ability to develop talent, drive results and build networks to effectively manage people and performance, produce reports and ensure member/client satisfaction. More specifically, you will be required to:

    • Develop and implement the administrative department’s business plan based on strategic issues and target results. Ensure action plans for administrative units under your responsibility are carried out, with a focus on performance management.

    • Assist the Desjardins Group Security Office’s teams in delivering the execution plan: governance consistency for committees, tracking key KPIs, dashboards, etc.
    • Oversee priority commitments: track deliverables, manage risks and interdependencies, resolve strategic and operational issues.
    • Ensure strategic alignment between the Desjardins Group Security Office’s vision and operational execution by the teams.
    • Help teams implement appropriate KPIs.
    • Coordinate action plan implementation and support performance reporting.
    • Identify bottlenecks that hinder achievement of strategic objectives.
    • Ensure rigorous oversight and strategic control of budgets related to technology asset operations (e.g., licenses).
    • Act as a champion for the Desjardins Group Security Office’s cross-sector projects and programs: track deliverables, manage risks and interdependencies, resolve strategic and operational issues.
    • Represent projects to decision-making bodies at Desjardins and assume ultimate responsibility for creating value for members and clients.
    • Define and support the sector’s data and analytics strategy, in line with Desjardins Group’s strategic directions.
    • Coordinate priorities and deployment of operational models for data and analytics.
    • Ensure consistency and performance, in collaboration with the Chief Data Officer and data stewards.
    • Develop and lead the continuous improvement strategy.
    • Oversee the implementation of initiatives.
    • Measure performance.
    • Manage change and mobilize teams.
