Project Coordinator
Job Offer
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support the execution of capital projects and operational initiatives. This is a developmental role designed to provide exposure to a broad range of real estate initiatives, with a primary focus on project coordination. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners—including consultants, engineers, architects, contractors, and vendors—to help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Coordinate and track capital projects, renovations, and building initiatives in the Aurora office and assist at other locations
- Assist in coordinating with both internal teams and external vendors including engineers, architects, HVAC specialists, and building system consultants
- Assist in the preparation and issuance of RFPs (Requests for Proposals)
- Provide coordination support for tenant improvements and base building renovations
- Assist with scheduling, site coordination, and issue tracking during project execution
- Assist in coordinating energy efficiency and building decarbonization initiatives
- Provide coordination support during building incidents and emergency situations
- Assist in maintaining and updating emergency preparedness plans and documentation
- Maintain organized project records, including contracts, drawings, permits, and reports
- Assist in tracking permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in project coordination, real estate, construction, or facilities management
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and CADD
- Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of construction or building systems is an asset
