IT Integration Advisor
Job Offer
The Business Banking Operations Department supports core application systems for large businesses and specialized application systems for medium and large businesses. We operate in critical (24/7) technological environments and apply the necessary discipline and ITIL practices required for this type of work. We handle operational support, patches and updates for solutions under our responsibility. This involves software packages, along with focused development, primarily in Java. As a senior IT integration advisor, you directly support IT systems support teams with IT applications. You’re an integral part of change enablement processes and are available to work outside normal business hours. You share operational best practices with a focus on compliance and security. You help keep our IT assets running over the long term by ensuring sound administration of practices and access management. You lead diverse practitioners in both operational and project-based mandates. You make recommendations during the application operationalization of projects for the application portfolio. You use your detailed and comprehensive understanding of your line of business and the organization. Coordination is critical. You interact with many stakeholders working in a wide range of fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as a specialist advisor and subject matter expert, as well as a resource person and coach for decision-making bodies.
More specifically, you will be required to:
- Lead initiatives and activities related to your line of business.
- Advise and support your colleagues and partners in positioning and implementing various tools and operational processes.
- Develop and update security-related policies and standards as part of your mandates.
- Identify and analyze major issues. Diagnose issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies.
- Represent your unit to decision-making bodies by taking action on the following elements: processing of deployments in non-prod and prod environments, processing of print queue problems (mail server), creation of directories on servers, management of tests and report or product repositories and logs during incidents/problems, participation in various projects for the implementation of new modules on servers, server reboot as needed, processing of changes including file moves in standard changes, processing of deployment requests in certif for servers and databases, processing of report rework for BOXI or BOBJ, PROD preparation and deployment via Tower er PROD preparation and deployment via Concourse.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- At least four years of experience as a developer, IT quality analysis or other relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Unix/Linux environment experience
- Experience with ITIL processes
- Experience with Secret Server
- Experience with MFT and encryption
- Knowledge of French is required
- Mastery of Oracle SQL / PL SQL
- Mastery of Windows batch scripting
- Mastery of Control-M
- Knowledge of Weblogic, TOAD, etc
- Available 24/7 as an on-call advisor with pay
