Application Delivery Manager
Job Offer
The Real-Time Payments and Special Project Solutions Department is responsible for developing and maintaining several payment solutions used by Desjardins Group’s business and personal members. It plays a central role in the payments modernization program, which aims to implement a modern payment system that will offer new opportunities to simplify and improve daily payment transactions. The modernization project involves real-time payments (such as Interac e-transfers). As Application Delivery Manager, you help direct material, time, IT and human resources on cross-sector projects to meet objectives on time and on budget. You analyze project feasibility and opportunities, develop action plans, define milestones and coordinate project teams. You supervise and coordinate contributors involved in delivering the application and technology component of major projects. You ensure timelines and budgets are respected. You plan and coordinate work to meet objectives. You ensure the quality of deliverables, performance and engagement of contributors. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of business. You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and detailed knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical. You interact with contributors working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to :
- Plan deliverables for the application and technology component. Estimate project costs, taking into account issues, complexity, practitioners and tie-ins with other projects.
- Supervise and coordinate contributors involved in application and tech delivery. Ensure team performance and quality control and identify project-specific standards, methods and procedures.
- Coordinate all deliverables for the application and technology component to ensure that business objectives and priorities are met and that agreements, budgets and timelines are respected.
- Ensure availability of the application layer of infrastructure platforms. Analyze risks and impacts for projects and develop strategies to address them to manage application and technological risk levels.
- Work with the project manager to manage change requests, solution testing and strategies for the application component.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience, including two in project management
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Knowledge of French is required
- Expertise in delivering multiple projects at the same time
- Advanced proficiency in Jira and Confluence
