    As the Information Security Officer, you’ll be the cybersecurity technical reference person for IT teams and business partners. Your role will be to incorporate security best practices into projects, services and operations, while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. You’ll analyze the proposed solutions, identify risks and make concrete recommendations to guide highly technically complex projects and initiatives. You’ll draw on your expertise to influence the organization’s security architecture, processes and practices. Your technical leadership, diligence and team spirit will be essential in supporting key players and promoting industry best practices. The Information Security Officer (ISO) has expertise in security architecture and delivery management. They help with strategic projects, complex mandates and business application development activities. More specifically, you will be required to:

    • Advise your clients and partners so they can position, plan, develop, select solutions for, execute and monitor projects and initiatives under your responsibility
    • Work closely with solution architecture and integration advisors to identify, implement and monitor security requirements for projects
    • Oversee the iterative documentation of project security requirements and measures in collaboration with architecture advisors
    • Plan, draft and present security risk analyses
    • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards and guides in projects and applications
    • Take action with the sector when there are discrepancies in the project to find an effective solution and correct the security posture
    • Identify and analyze major issues. Diagnose issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
    • Represent Desjardins when making agreements with external partners and organizations

    What you bring to the table

    • Bachelor's degree in IT or in a related field
    • A minimum of six years of relevant experience in information technology and/or information security or any other related field
    • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
    • Experience in an influential role and on files involving multiple stakeholders
    • Knowledge of French is required
    • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

    • Extensive expertise in security architecture
    • Expertise in simplifying and clearly communicating solution, process, and tool requirements
