Squad lead
Job Offer
Our Operational Execution Alignment Department is looking for squad leads to join our team. We’re a newly formed team. We have the chance to build from the ground up and focus on adding value for our business lines. As a squad lead, you'll be responsible for rolling out the prioritized OPEX initiatives for your squad. You will plan and coordinate the squad’s daily work, mobilize expertise across a matrix model, ensure the quality of deliverables and ensure delivery within the agreed-upon scope, timelines and efforts. You will be a key player, ensuring the coordination of operations, managing dependencies and monitoring the field for risks, issues and capacities. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Plan, coordinate and deliver prioritized initiatives based on the scope, timelines, effort and quality expected
- Direct the squad’s daily work: detailed planning, coordination of expertise, dependency management
- Manage the squad’s actual capacity (workload, skills, optimal use of matrix resources)
- Ensure the quality of deliverables and support deployment with the relevant operational teams
- Ensure operational communications: progress, risks, issues, interdependencies, mitigation options
- Document scenarios and recommendations to help determine the scope for the product owner
- Proactively identify risks and issues and propose adjustments as needed
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the squad’s pace, quality and work methods

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience in operational planning, team facilitation and cross-sector coordination
- Experience orchestrating matrix-based resources in a multi-role context
- Experience managing deliverables, dependencies, risks and commitments
- Experience in collaborative leadership and the ability to mobilize teams with no direct reporting line
- Experience coordinating or managing business projects
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Knowledge of execution practices, business unit operations and operational processes
