SAS Data Valorization Analyst
Job Offer
Two positions are open, one in Quebec and the other in Ontario.
The mission of the Data and Analytics Evolution Department is to support and advise business sectors on data access and use, and to make data available in secure environments according to business sector specifications. As an SAS data valorization analyst, you collect and valorize data that comes through different channels. You extract, describe, analyze and interpret the data needed to make informed business decisions. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Occasionally take part in the development of ETL solutions with SAS to load data in the warehouse.
- Help identify and analyze the sector’s management information needs (data, reports, management indicators, performance measures, publications, etc.).
- Develop new indicators, modify existing indicators and respond to ad hoc requests.
- Help implement data and analytics (DA) solutions in partnership with the business sectors, keeping in mind cross-sector standardization—particularly with respect to test strategies, tests, documentation and integration of reference documents.
- Define, validate and update procedures and mechanisms for controlling the quality of management information.
- Ensure the quality of publications in accordance with the management information governance policy.
- Help system, tool and database users in choosing and interpreting requests and publications.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum two years of relevant experience in a field related to data and analytics.
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
- Proficiency in SAS
- General knowledge of database structure
- Proficiency in resolving data extraction and valorization issues
