Practice Leader
Job Offer
As Practice Leader, you support your unit manager by providing deep subject matter expertise to practitioners. You coordinate, mentor, and develop a group of experienced professionals while contributing to management and operational activities. Your work requires extensive knowledge of group retirement savings and plan member education. You act as a leader and integrator on innovative, large-scale initiatives. You provide recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects that require comprehensive analysis and a strong understanding of the organization and line of business. A strategic mindset, organizational awareness, and sound judgment are essential. Collaboration is critical to success, and you regularly engage with stakeholders across multiple functions. You serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to project teams and decision making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to :
- Develop and grow your practice area and serve as its primary subject matter expert
- Provide expert guidance, mentoring, and support in analysis, strategy development, personalized approaches, and case management
- Contribute to the planning, prioritization, and delivery of your unit’s work and ensure priorities are completed successfully
- Ensure practices, processes, methodologies, and tools are used consistently and effectively to achieve unit objectives
- Design thematic client strategies that connect financial planning with financial wellness
- Research, curate, and identify new content for educational presentations and experiences
- Coordinate with Marketing and Sales teams on the positioning and promotion of education offerings
- Participate in internal initiatives (GBRS), bringing forward the plan member perspective

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience managing projects, priorities, and operational processes effectively
- Experience creating and curating educational content and building thematic, client centric strategies
- Proven experience coaching, mentoring, and developing professionals
- LLQP license and/or CEBS designation
- Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with english-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and deep subject matter expertise in financial wellness and plan member education
- Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to manage and deliver complex initiatives
- Strong cross functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including direct engagement with Marketing and Sales
- Strong client focused mindset and the ability to effectively champion the plan member perspective
- Occasional travel outside Québec
